  • Message: Dear Chandroo,  I very much enjoyed your article.  Thank you for sharing. I have lost a very old friend from my youth in the last few days. 61 is not nearly old enough.  He did live to see three grandchildren coming into his life, and was loved by many.  He was a highly respected marine biologist, charged with looking after water quality for lakes and rivers in NZ.Your travels in India sounded like quite an adventure.  I hope they have whetted your apetite to return there in the not too distant future.  Best regards to you and Lavina.   David

  • Hi Chandroo,
Thank you for sharing another beautiful article... bitter-sweet feelings about the young ones! I also miss the times when my children were so cute and cuddly!! But they are still the same persons inside and I am sure they are thankful and respectful for all the love and attention they have received. It will strike them even more when then will become parents themselves.
    Hope to see you soon!
    Best, Marianne

  • Message: Sir CD, Once Again, a beautifully written article, Bravo! The way i see it today, we as parents / grand parents need to be flexible and bendable to our kids/grandkids as it's their time now. Some of DadaS teachings are, Live for Others, To be Happy make others happy. I wouldn't mind making adjustments to my timings just to meet my child, afterall it's not an every day issue and neither a life long one, so WTF! Life on this planet is momentarily so let's not lose any chance we get and have the regret later on... Looking forward to you're next one! Till then cheers to GnT and a good LiFE. Loves BD

Chandroo, may God continue to bless you in every way and before we get too "old" let's plan to meet up again sometime soon.

Your childhood was similar to mine except we had cement to play on and most of my time I worked and since I was 9 years old, nor 78 soon, and still working by choice, don't sit down ! I too have lost friends and parents at earlier ages Dad 32, and mom 78 . But Now We start with a great Granddaughter that will make me young again think of how lucky we are that we are enjoying all the good things God gave us, our children and Grand children and now our great grand children. Don't think of ever leaving if your feeling good. Your Friend for ever Al, Mary, Family.

  • Message: Dear uncle, I always enjoy your articles . You write particularly well making it a good read . Especially the ones about the family. In my mind I try to visualize the scenes. Imagining granny and also recollecting a few stories she told us about her days in Pakistan . She also told us they lived in a palatial home . She had velvet slippers placed below feet before they touched the ground . It was a grand life . They were deeply saddened to leave all the valuables and big home to leave suddenly. A big loss for them all . 💕😊
