​Good Old Grandpa​

How does he do it? How does he make it? I wonder while we watch grandpa's new making.  “I want to do that when I’m older,” I say to myself quietly.

“Wow grandpa! it was uh-mazing,” I tell him while he’s taking out the tape. “Can you teach me how to do that?” I start pleading.  I know grandpa’s thinking I should learn all these complicated stuff when I’m older but for now I can always enjoy grandpa’s tapes.

My grandfather’s name is Chandroo Daryanani or as we like to call him Chip 'n Dale.  We sometimes call grandpa that because his initials are CD.   Grandpa is great with computers and makes slideshows and videos.  He even made for me my own website.  He’s made videos of  me when I was a baby and I find them very funny.

​

For instance, when I was a baby my sister climbed on the toilet seat and kept flushing the toilet.  I used to follow after her.  I did lots of silly things when I was a baby.  I used to always watch those tapes but now we can’t because we only have DVD players.  I have to admit I was extremely cute when I was a baby. I’m also adorable now!

Now, back to grandpa.  I am very close to my granddad. We always eat nuts together and talk.  I find that very enjoyable.  He lives in Hong Kong so we don’t get to see each other that often but we at least get to see each other every summer.

When I grow up I would like to be as smart and generous as grandpa. I love him so much.  Too bad we don’t get to see each other everyday but the fact that we miss each other makes us even closer.
